Christine Wright | July 5th, 2012

It's been a while since I've had internet, or enough drive to take some photos. I just recently put in my two-weeks at the portrait studio I work for and hope to pursue a little more with my own photography. These were taken after my sister and I spent a mini fortune at Bealls Outlet coming up with a cute little outfit for the photos I had in mind. I guess we plan on returning them tomorrow, har har. I so much enjoy having all the time in the world to experiment with different editing, and I look forward to working with my next few clients.

Jesse Hardy & Kristina Conrad

It's about that time of year where I am rushing to put together some submissions for a contest at work called the Chairman's Award. After some impromptu planning, a slight mishap with my equipment, and a life saving trip to Walmart, I finally got to use Jesse and Kristy for a light setup I've been wanting to experiment with for ages. My quest for just one image turned into many, and this is how it all ended up:

Easter 2012

I had a really great Easter. In the morning, Dylan's dad took us out for breakfast at the Moose Lodge. I think we all felt a little uncomfortable at first because of how empty and foreign it was, but my gosh, the food was awesome and all-you-can-eat food for only $6.00 is exponentially awesome. I took a nap, then met up with my family in Port Canaveral for brunch. By the time I got back to Melbourne, it was time for Fayrouz to have her first egg hunt!

Caleb's First Birthday

This past Saturday I went to Titusville to take pictures at my cousin's first birthday party. I got to see a lot of relatives that I haven't seen in years. We spent hours sitting in the living room telling stories and reminiscing people that we've lost. Burgers and hot dogs were on the grill while I chased all the little munchkins who wanted me to try to catch them and take their picture. I had a really great time, and there needs to be more excuses to see family more often. Kept my favorites in black and white since the lighting was all so different.
